Aromatherapy has been used for years as an assistant when healing ailments. We are able to link a scent to a positive memory and how we felt during that time. By training our brain to associate the properties of each chakra with a specific smell, we are able to tap into a deeper level of alignment and healing.
Each Essential oil corresponds with a specific chakra both with the scent used and the crystal chips infused within it. Crystals are often used separately during meditation or prayer which we absolutely recommend, however infusing them to the oil gives it an extra potent energy. Oils are for external application ONLY. It can be applied to the wrist, neck, temples, 3rd eye, or hands. Make sure that you consciously inhale the scent and focus on the specific energy center that corresponds. While meditation and prayer would be the most common uses for them, don't limit yourself. Carry it with you and reapply throughout the day. Take a few seconds to tap into that energy so you can learn better how to integrate it into your day. It can also be rubbed on your hands and then through your hair or even onto your candle. This can help it burn with a bit of scent and the combination of your personal energy as well as the oil's. As with most things in spirituality, there is not one RIGHT way to do anything. It is all about personal preference and adapting these tools to work for you. Remember, its all about intention-- be firm and steadfast in yours and complete chakra balance will become natural.
